Hundreds of very happy and cheerful youngsters in Kendal enjoyed a very merry day to kick start the festive season when they took part in the Little Explorers Wonderfully Wild Christmas kids’ club at Westmorland Shopping Centre.

Led by characters Deer Darlington and Squirrel Nancy Nutcracker, families enjoyed a host of activities from playing festive games to making special tree decorations out of crafts, hearing joyful stories and enjoying an exciting treasure hunt.

Westmorland Shopping Centre Manager, Peter Gaynor said “We are so pleased so many families enjoyed our Little Explorers kids’ club to kick start their Christmas celebrations, it was great to see so many happy faces enjoying the host of activities. We look forward to welcoming more families to the centre throughout the lead up to Christmas.”
