Halloween Event at Kendal’s Westmorland Shopping Centre
Hundreds of youngsters in Kendal enjoyed a fang-tastic day of free-ky half term fun when they took part in the Little Explorers Gruesome Halloween kids’ club at Westmorland Shopping Centre.
Led by characters Sir Slim Spawn and Rita Ribbit, families enjoyed a host of activities from making their own gooey frog spawn slime to playing ghoulish lily pad racing games, hearing spooky stories and enjoying a trick or treat treasure hunt.
The activity was the launch of Little Explorers, the centres new kids’ club which will regularly host activities for families at the Kendal shopping centre.
One of the first to take part in the activities were eight-year-old Zac Burnley and his little brother Sebastian, six. They had been brought along by their Mum Melissa, 34, who said “The boys have had a fantastic time today, they loved making the slime and the characters were so engaging and entertaining. Two very happy boys and a happy Mummy too.”

We look forward to welcoming more families for the Christmas kids’ club on Saturday 1st December.”
