The Lakes International Comic Arts Festival was held the 13^th – 15^th of October and The Westmorland Shopping Centre was one of the biggest venues for activities.

Children were able to draw alongside their favourite comic artists as well as take part in craft workshops, face painting and learning about the huge world of comic artistry. The event was a huge success, bringing in over 2000 visitors to the shopping centre.
